Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 41-year-old woman Tuesday afternoon after she allegedly made threats against a county court judge.

Authorities identified the suspect as Geneva Gordon, who was booked into Douglas County Corrections on charges of terroristic threats.

“DCSO is responsible for security of the Courthouse Complex as well as the judges themselves. Threats to either are not taken lightly and will result in arrest and criminal prosecution,” Sheriff Aaron Hanson said in a statement Wednesday.

In addition to the new charges, Gordon had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Court records show the warrant was issued on Dec. 13 after she failed to appear for a hearing related to disorderly conduct and obstruction of a peace officer charges from an October 2024 incident.
