Douglas County Sheriff’s Deputies have made another arrest as part of Sheriff Aaron Hanson’s ongoing crackdown on street racing in Omaha.
According to a social media post on Monday morning, deputies arrested Antonio Grimaldo-Collins, stating that he “learned the hard way that driving recklessly and tearing up parking lots will land you in jail.”
Authorities are also investigating additional charges for other individuals involved in the incident.
This arrest is the latest in a series of efforts by Sheriff Hanson to combat illegal street racing. Since November, he has been impounding vehicles and seizing phones of suspected street racers.
