A man accused of fatally stabbing another in Omaha on Friday made his first court appearance Tuesday.
Nathan Dudley, 38, faces charges of First-Degree Murder, which carries a potential life sentence, and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, which could result in up to 50 years in prison.
Dudley is currently being held without bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 8.
Court documents reveal that Dudley and the victim, 34-year-old Milan Jones, were in a relationship for about eight months. After their breakup, Dudley allegedly harassed Jones for months.
Authorities say Dudley later went to Jones’s apartment and stabbed him in the heart. Jones also suffered 15 additional stab wounds.
