Rescue crews pulled a man from Czechland Lake in Saunders County on Tuesday afternoon after he fell through the ice.
According to the Saunders County Sheriff’s Office, deputies assisted Prague and Wahoo fire and rescue teams in retrieving the man from the lake, which is located north of Prague, Nebraska.
Emergency responders transported the man by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of possible hypothermia.

The Lower Platte North Natural Resources District issued a warning Tuesday afternoon about thin ice on local lakes and rivers. With warmer temperatures causing ice to thaw, officials urge the public to stay off frozen bodies of water.
