Three people have been sentenced after an Omaha Police Department (OPD) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) operation uncovered a sex trafficking case involving a missing Kansas girl.

How the Investigation Began

  • In November 2022, OPD arrested a woman and a juvenile girl for shoplifting at a Walmart on South 72nd Street.
  • The juvenile was reported missing from Kansas and had been staying in an Omaha hotel with the woman.
  • A search of the hotel room revealed narcotics, cash, and items linked to commercial sexual activity.
  • OPD partnered with Wichita Police and HSI to track down additional suspects.

  • Alexas Davis (24)9 years for conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of a minor.
  • Joan Robinson (35)19.5 years for transporting a minor for prostitution.
  • Khalah Beard (24)Just over 10 years for conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of a minor.
